Michelle, I can't tell you how many times, on how many forums I've told people to never buy a list. I've been in business for myself for about 40 years and selling on the net for 6 or 7. I made the mistake of buying a list early on and felt like I had thrown away my money.

Then I discovered a site that changed all that. I've been promoting it for about a month now and nearly 100 people have joined. I can honestly tell you that you will find something you can use.

Here's a link right to the page -

www.wholesalesourcesdirectory.com Wholesale Sources Directory

Or, you can read more about it in this thread -

http://www.gowholesale.com/...;;page=unread#unread

You will find some sources for just about anything there. I had one guy who sells military collectibles and thought he had no further sources. He found 3 the first visit. If he can find 3 for aomething like that, you can certainly find something.

Sorry, Greg, it's not mine. I only promote it for a guy I met on the old W411 4um. He sells it for $ 12.99 and gave me permission to promote it on forums I visit for $ 9.99. I've had well over 100 people join, with no complaints, so I feel like I need to stick by agreement with him.

a good idea to find a reliable wholesaler to search in the wholesale forums, like gowholesale.com, thewholesaleforum.co.uk . after u find some ones, try to buy some cheap items from them to test whether they are legit and their service quality.

Try this site, they are recommended by ebay and I have sold over $9,000.00 worth of stuff through the list. You do pay a few bucks but it is worth it.

Pete,

YOU SAY NEVER TO PAY FOR A WHOLESALE LIST. BUT WHY ARE YOU TELLING PEOPLE TO GO TO A SITE THAT IS MADE BY YOU?

BECAUSE THE REAL TRUTH IS THAT IN ABOUT 99% OF THE TIME IS HOW YOU FIND A GOOD WHOLESALE LIST? CORRECT?

MadTHEN DONT DOG ME FOR BEING AN AFFILIATE TO ANOTHER SITE!!! YOU LIKE YOUR WHOLESALE LIST AND I LIKE MINE AND LEAVE IT AT THAT..

Re: Wholesale Sourcing Tips [In reply to] Reply

I did not say never pay for a list.

And I never come here just to promote my product. I give answers and opinions that have nothing to do with what I'm selling.

And I don't claim to make thousands and then recommend that everyone use my sources.

It's not what you're selling. It's the obvious way you never really add anything to the forum, just your affiliate link, after telling everyone who much money you have made with it.

My original point was, and still is, how many people come here just to promote their product with a simple "cut and paste" to virtually every category there is.

That, plus the fact that whenever a newbie starts off telling how great they have done with something it is obvious they are only trying to sell their "miracle solution", not really helping others.

ONCE AGAIN, HE IS MAKING MONEY OFF OF THIS. HE HAS BEEN DOGING OTHER MEMBERS ON THIS SITE FOR HIS OWN CAUSE.

TRY HIS SITE OUT IT IS A BUNCH OF CRAP, SIGN UP WITH THEM AND SEE JUST HOW MUCH YOU MAKE!!

CHECK MY POST OUT AND SIGN UP WITH THEM, AND WITH OVER 70,000 MEMBERS MORE THAN HALF ARE POWERSELLERS ON EBAY.
THE REST ARE PRIVATE OWNERS OF WEBSITES AROUND THE WORLD.

JUST DONT TAKE ADVICE FROM THIS GUY, IN FACT DO A YAHOO OR GOOGLE SEARCH ON POSTS ABOUT THESE KIND OF SITES, THEY ARE ALL MOSTLY NEGATIVE....

IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS , OR WANTS TO SEE THE PROOF OF MY PROFIT THAN YOU ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO EMAIL ME AT os2cww@yahoo.com .

I CAN HELP YOU GET STARTED SELLING , AND SHOW YOU THE SITES THAT TELL YOU WHAT IS HOT ON EBAY. AND OF COUSE I DONT CHARGE.

Pete,

Your right there are a bunch of people cuting and pasting there junk.

But you are still doging a company that you dont know nothing about?? CORRECT?

If you are trying to give advise, you try my site that I am promoting out, then come back and give some feedback!!

But if you have been in the buessness for years than you know that members mean everything, as a ebay powerseller myself

I am just giving advise to where to go. I can cut & paste the ebay powerseller forum on here to prove that this site is

the best for ebay members and highly recommended!!

Re: Wholesale Sourcing Tips [In reply to] Reply

I have no problem with what you are selling. You have every right to.

My problem is simply that without any introductions, without coming to the forum and answering a few questions from others, without really contributing in any way, you post the same message over and over.

Maybe you are new to forums. Many would not allow it, in fact most do not allow affiliate links of any sort. And there is a very good reason for this.

Anyone can do as you have, honest or not, and claim to have made thousands, gotten great service, found true love, whatever and then post an affiliate link.

Which causes people to wonder if the claim is true, or just a message to get someone to click on the link.

It happens not just with affiliates, it also comes up often when a new poster, often Chinese, comes and talks about this great deal they got. First post. Maybe in several categories.

The fact is that very few people reveal sources. And they certainly don't find some place to make a financial killing and then come an offer to share it with all of these wouldbe competitors. They are only promoting their own business.

Do I promote that membership site? I sure do. I've now had over 300 people join it and no negative posts on a number of forums such as this. Is it the greatest thing since sliced bread? No. Is it worth $ 10 in just the time it saves? Yes.

But, I also answer questions about sales taxes, accounting, where to find stuff, etc. I didn't come here to sell memberships, and I never bring them up until asked.

Big difference. Other than 1 initial post on that site, find another single post where I started the conversation. I think you'll find I only offer it as a solution when asked.

Big difference.
